Oh, I wouldn’t even consider myself gone. I paused billing until I can publish more regularly, at least a few times a month. I would feel bad if I only posted two pieces in two months and still took people’s money. Just trying to be fair. I'll have something out in the next couple of weeks, I hope.

I just felt it wasn’t right to take anybody's right now when it’s been nearly three weeks since I posted anything, and it will likely be another two and then about a month until I get something else out. I could be wrong. I could have a great writing session one morning. Ha. Yeah right.
Nope. Substack has a ‘pause’ button under ‘payments’ in its dashboard settings. It only stops future payments but keeps everything in place so all I have to do is click ‘pause’ when ready and payments should resume on their typical schedules, the same ones as before, I believe. For annual subscribers, I can just manually add a month or two, however long I please, that way it balances out for those who have already paid. All subscriptions remain intact, except for the twenty people who unsubscribed today. Ha!
Forward’s the only way to go. Enjoy what you do, we’ll be fine.
